Baby on the way!!!

we found out on July 11, 2013.

YAY!

happy happy happy!

1 month!

how we told my family- we had them over for a long awaited game night and then brought out some pumpkin banana bread and drinks for dessert. I had made a bunch of decaf coffee and we had agreed not to ask if they wanted any- just to bring it to them. but Jesus asked and both of my parents said no... so we brought my dad beer in a mug and my mom milk (which she doesn't even drink) lol, but it was worth it. they loved the surprise! I forgot to get a picture of Alex's cup, but it was blue and said "You can call me Uncle Alex". He came later, so my parents and Alisa got to be in on the surprise that time.

Since my brother Nick lives in Florida, we sent him a tshirt that says "this guy is going to be an uncle". He should receive it in a few days and I am so excited to hear from him1

How we told Jesus' family! Jesus put a positive pregnancy test in there before we gave it to his mom. His mom cried and everyone was happy. His dad came later and his response was, "Oh, ok." hahaha just like how they said he would react.

;)

Our 1st anniversary!

Jesus had the idea of writing one word every day (23) to describe each other. Isn't he romantic? ;) I think this will be a new tradition that we will do every year from June 1-June 23.

We stayed in the J.R.R. Tolkien room. It was pretty cute. It was right by the soaking pool on the bottom level- we chose it because it was right by a bathroom, making it easier for me with my two sprained ankles. We think the heater was broken because it was SO hot in there- we left the window open and had the fan blowing the whole time!

:( We got the "Frisbee Golf Package" at McMennamins Grand Lodge, but I certainly could not play. Jesus was a great sport and pushed me around the hotel.

We shared a pitcher of purple haze beer!

Jesus got the "Burnin' Pineapple" pizza!

I got the "Green with Envy" pizza!

We got a blueberry lemon cobbler for dessert mmmm.
We also had delicious breakfasts, but forgot to get pictures- I got a wonderful omelet and Jesus got a breakfast gyro!

Beaverton Bakery gave us a coupon for a free 1 year cake topper when they made our wedding cake. So, we had them make it exactly like our wedding day cake- we ate the marble cake at the wedding, so we even got them to make it marble! It was a really fun way to celebrate! We ate it while watching our wedding video! ;)

More 2013 fun!

Sophie made this mother's day card <3

hanging out with our love bugs on Baby G's 1st birthday!!

Sammy and Baby G at his birthday party! We got to see him walk for the first time that day!

I got to baby-sit him and he was so much fun :) He would throw an empty water bottle, wait for my reaction, and then laugh over and over again...too cute!

We threw a murder mystery dinner at our house. The theme was "wine and murder". I was Hedy Shablee and Jesus was Bud Wizer. Lots of fun!

Red Robin Yummmm

Celebrating Alisa graduating 6th grade! Onto Jr. High!

What does Jesus want for his birthday?

Family & Friends bbq at the Lundins for the 4th of July!

We got chickens! and they are now laying 1 egg each every day = lots of eggs! They do fly over the coop sometimes, but it isn't too hard to chase them back in and Cece does really well with them. One of them also laid a double yolk egg!

Our nerd bird got spayed. It was really sad, but we are glad now that it is over!

Cece is so much fun. She really adds a lot to our family! She LOVES to cuddle, makes us laugh all the time, and is just a sweetie. She plays with Figaro whenever we go over to the Gonzalez house :) She is still a puppy, so hyper as can be a lot of the time, but we do a good job of taking her to the dog park, on walks, and kicking her soccer ball around. She loves her toys and destroys them all eventually ;)

My parents got a new bulldog, Louise. She is too cute! She snores and makes lots of noises- she loves Cece and they play really well together. Weezie ;)

I sprained BOTH of my ankles during my women's gymnastics class.... I could not walk for about 2 weeks and had to use Jr's wheelchair. My feet were so swollen, bruised, and hurt to the touch, but I had to buckle down and work because it happened on the busiest week of the season for me working in the farm office. I put in over 50 hours that week, which was actually a nice distraction. Poor Jesus had to help with EVERYTHING. Bless his heart!
