Johanna's first plane ride! We woke her up at 4am to make it to the airport on time so she was up for hours before the flight and slept most of the way there! We arrived in Cali. around 10 and then I had to leave by noon to make it to the lingerie party on time.
Lingerie party! I helped to host it with another bridesmaid- it was a lot of fun! bra pong was a huge hit! bachelorette party was afterward and we went out for dinner- Faith asked us to dress up in old, ugly bridesmaid dresses...mine was by far the worst! I had to head home after dinner because johanna was exhausted after a day of travel and being away from mommy and needed me with her.
On Saturday, the Huchels came to visit and meet Johanna! We celebrated Jesus' 24th birthday with donuts and coffee! and then we were able to go out on a date to Red Robin! Love that man so so much!! That evening, we had the rehearsal- Johanna fussed almost the entire time so we had to take turns eating...and then I asked for wine when we got back to the house and Opa went out and bought 6 more bottles... haha! I definitley had a melt down that night because I had been away from her 8 hours on Friday and knew I had to do it again on Sunday- it was SO hard! but now I know I can do it and I feel much more confident.

Sunday was the wedding!! It was SO much fun! I laughed so hard being with Faith, Janna, and Katrina again! I loved being able to support Faith on her special day! I held her dress train while she walked around taking pictures, I got all the bridesmaids to pray over her, and I encouraged her. It was so special! Love that lady <3 Faith and Keith are so wonderful together and I know their love and marriage will be blessed by the Lord.
We had so much fun hanging out with Oma & Opa! Jesus and Oma were the "Dream Team" taking care of Johanna 2 days for 8 hours each...they were amazing. We got to take Johanna swimming! Jesus and I got to go on a few different dates- to the hot tub at night, to In'n'Out, and to Red Robin. We had happy hours and ate delicious food and got to catch up. I love being able to spend time with them and letting them get to know their great granddaughter. It means the world to me.
