cece keeps getting in the coop, but she just eats their poop =/
and one of our broody hens actually hatched 1 chick! out of 9 eggs...and after 18 days the broody switched nests so we put a 2nd broody on the eggs- total chaos and so stressful for me! and out of nowhere, there were only 2 eggs left. who ate them?!
here was the 2nd egg- never hatched. fully formed chick inside- had even absorbed the yolk, but got cold i guess...so sad!
sour crop... learning new things all the time ;) this chx got sour crop and then proceeded to roost in the nesting boxes, so the mites got it super bad and it got anemic. died about a week later :( then we deep cleaned the coop and added diametrus earth

loved having so much free time to cook healthy meals! and with breastfeeding and light exercise losing all the baby weight :) and actually having time to enjoy my body before getting pregnant again- win!
