i feel like a bad mother because I didn't do any sort of monthly updates on Jo this whole year. It was a busy year for us, but I should have done better. Next year, right? Johanna is such an incredible little girl! She is sweet and funny and a ball of energy and IMAGINATION! She never stops talking and always wants to be with people. She is really becoming a wonderful big sister- can't wait to watch that relationship continue to blossom. She is creative as can be and comes up with the most fun stories and scenarios for play. she would be outside all day if you let her and loves to go on walks in the jogging stroller. She asks some really great questions, especially in the car. She is just a JOY in our lives and I am so thankful to God for her! <3
we had a rough transition w/ sleeping after June was born. She slept in our room for almost 6 months before I couldn't handle waking up 4x a night and moved her into the crib which Johanna was still very attached to. We moved Jo upstairs onto a trundle bed and she wasn't a big fan- slept with all the lights on and the door open and stopped using her white noise. Once her grandparents left for Mexico, she would fall asleep out in the hallway so she could hear us downstairs :( We finally went on a family vaca and after seeing the girls do 2 nights in a room together, we decided to have them share. So, June is in the closet where it is dark and we have her white noise and then Jo sleeps on her toddler bed (from cousins!) w/ a night light (sometimes she turns on many lights ay yi yi) and no white noise ;) it is working for now haha.

Jesus was so excited to share a bed w/ her in Mexico since there were 2 full size beds in our room, but she promptly fell out twice onto the tile floors... so we used a pack'n'play haha
butter lover! i was off w/ june for just a minute and she had used a chair to climb up and get this off the counter!
her favorite color right now is yellow! and she is obsessed with birthdays and cupcakes ;)
