Fall 2015

Baby #2 getting big! Our little girl is due 2/9/16... 33 weeks today! Lots of heartburn and having trouble sleeping, but other than that it has been a fairly easy pregnancy! I have SO many pregnant friends- it makes it more fun!

Our neighbor got a puppy, Spot, who we love having around! Cece plays so nicely with puppies! and our chickens are doing good.  Our rhode island red is a rooster- pretty aggressive.  Jesus loves it, I want to get rid of it.  It runs up and down the fence with Cece.  Our old barred rock just finished molting...gross! and the other one STILL isn't laying... our 2 white chickens are awesome- 2 small white eggs every day. that is the only breed we should get from now on! Johanna loves to help with the chickens- daddy made her a "basket" that she helps put the eggs in and carries back to the house ;)

Halloween! a fun mom's group party and then we went to Grandma Sandee's.  Johanna helped pass out candy, which she loved and we all went to grab "Boo-rritos" from Chipotle, but it was closed due to a salmonella outbreak.  When we got home, Johanna had diharrea all over the couch...and there hadn't been time to clean it up since new trick or treaters kept coming.  HA! she had lots more diharrea that night....pretty sure her tummy wasn't happy with the fruit snacks and 5 pieces of candy she got...she usually gets very little sugar! April had her baby just before Halloween- 2 full weeks late.  fun to see her become a mama!

Thanksgiving! I had gum surgery 2 days before, so excuse my stupid smile.  Johanna loved having all the family around!

Haunted corn maze ;)

Jesus drew me....

Our house must be cursed... everything keeps falling apart! While Jr. and Blanca were in Mexico, we dealt with 2 broken washers, lost electricity, lost water, a broken upstairs sink, a leaking washing machine, a flat tire- 2x... i am not even sure what else. and now that they are home, the other washing machine is broken..... OMG! Jesus always keeps such a great attitude about these things.... so thankful for him!

We went to "A maze in Grace" pumpkin patch right down the road from our house several times this October! Johanna loved the bunnies, the "tiny" pumpkins, the train, and the dancing skeleton.  We even made up a rock-a-bye song about it that we are still singing at Christmas time.  She was too afraid to ride on the pirate boat this year, but maybe next year ;) We got to go with our mom's group too- that group is SUCH an incredible blessing to us!

tea parties with daddy!

the girl is into worms ;)

trying to put on her own diaper... hahaha

watching Johanna with her daddy just melts my heart! He is such a good dad!

starting to get really creative and use her imagination! here she was using our chair cushions as carpet squares just like in her gymnastics class! And she did this all by herself- bringing out her dollies to play too and then counting to 3 and running.  Love this age! She has been really involved in activities lately- trying to keep her busy during the cold, rainy months. So, we did gymnastics first and then swimming classes and we will do one month at Gymboree starting in Jan (thanks groupon!) and then it will be time for little sister! But we didn't get any pics of the gymnastics class or swimming lessons since one of us always took her alone...

"basketball" is one of her favorite pass-times!

when she is sleepy <3

we tried an art class... she did good, but I think it would be way more fun in another 6 months.  She was really proud of her work though and loved having it up on the refrigerator for a few weeks.  She eventually tore these all up hahah.

zane's playroom!

she LOVES olives!

teaching her to be a big helper- laundry, cooking, cleaning. she loves it so far!

she loves anything doll-related! She is such a little mama- can't wait to see her with her sister! She also loves "Daniel Tiger" on TV ;)

she asked me to put that balloon up her dress so she could have a baby in her tummy too! She also takes the "baby Jesus" from her nativity sets and puts them in her shirt.... soo sweet!

starting to enjoy dressing up!

mom's group!

her first time splashing in puddles after days and days of rain we finally got out to the library to chase the ducks!

she loves getting the eggs :)

Johanna is at such a fun age! It is incredible to watch her grow and see her imagination blossoming.  She learns something new every day.  At just over 21 months, she can communicate so clearly! I get told all the time that her vocabulary is extraordinary for a girl her age- she loves to talk ;) She copies everything, sings songs, plays pretend, and loves to help! When she asks for something and we say no, she will respond with, "yes, I do." or "a little bit" or "one more time" hahahah love her so much!
