Dad "Chris, you may be experiencing some early signs of heat exhaustion- recommend you say goodbye to your iguana friend and seek water/shade"
Oma "Room service didn't show up :("
Uncle Chris "Is Dave still on the flow rider?"
Alex "Just now getting these group messages...los tacos tonight at 6? Where is everyone?"
Oma "Be there! We're running a little late. had appt for still another full body massage."
Mom "As for me, I am at Los Tacos consuming chips and guac and sipping on a daiquiri-eye"
Chris H "I'm also at los tacos. uncle rick just ordered tres saucos from Jose"
Mom "Ezekiel just had a blow out"
Aunt Cheryl "I just got run over by the world's fastest golf cart..."
Aunt Cindy "I'm in the 90 degree pool water seeking shade"
Natalie "My team is winning the scavenger hunt w/ just one photo- just found a bald man in a speedo w/ zinc nose and a sunburn AND a visible band-aid"
Mom "I thought we couldn't photograph anyone from our own group"
Uncle Chris "This game is getting personal. Can I change out of this speedo now?"
Aunt Cindy "I'm having a mini quesadilla with the tequila lady that Natalie flipped off"
Mom "I think that might go down as one of the most classic moments of the trip."
Mom "I am currently tickling and shaking Alisa so she laughs naturally"
Alisa "Why is no one in the lazy river with me?! I found chairs in the shade"
Alex "I'll catch up w/ everyone later. Had to stop at the bathroom, my stomach is feeling a bit off."
Mom "Alex- I am not at all sure if you are joking"
Aunt Cheryl "Dad is eating a single shrimp from a large bowl of green bile... that whole dinner tho"

Alisa "I tried to make reservations for a restaurant tonight but apparently they don't take reservations"
Aunt Cindy "I've just ordered 10 octopus appetizers for everyone. They call it ceviche but that's a lie"
Jesus "Hey can you guys use the other group convo that I am not in. I feel like you guys are rubbing all the fun you're having in my face while I hang out in the room with screaming children"

Mom "Just take them to the fun house mirror place- maybe they'll get lost in there for a while"

Mom "Only if you can guarantee that we will get that same tour guide"

Later, June didn't like any food I was offering her and asked "to go to that place where the yummy tacos are!"
Oma & Opa paid for everyone to go to Cancun- airfare, all-inclusive resort, even matchy tshirts…. so extravagantly generous! It was such a fun trip! obviously kind of hard for us with 3 littles...but so many wonderful memories! we would take golf carts all around the resort so we didn't have to walk in the crazy heat. lazy river, crazy cool playrooms for the kids, wave rider, massages and pedicures for everyone, lots of delicious food, and most importantly time with loved ones. what a blessing!
